Job Description

As the Director of Revenue Operations at our client, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all processes and systems that drive revenue growth. This includes sales operations, marketing operations, customer success operations, and the overall go-to-market strategy. You will play a critical role in aligning all revenue-generating departments, improving efficiency, and ensuring that the Salesforce CRM and other tools are utilized to their full potential.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in refining the revenue operations framework, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across teams. Your expertise will be essential in driving data-driven decision-making processes, optimizing customer journeys, and enhancing the overall sales funnel. You will be tasked with developing and implementing scalable processes, from lead generation to customer retention, ensuring the company’s growth targets are met.

Your role will also involve close collaboration with the executive team to provide insights and strategic recommendations based on revenue performance data. As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will oversee a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle, from lead generation to customer retention, ensuring maximum revenue growth.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of our Salesforce CRM, ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and full utilization of its capabilities to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to streamline processes, improve performance, and ensure seamless integration across all revenue-generating functions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and make informed strategic decisions that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of revenue operations initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead regular revenue operations meetings, presenting actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to guide decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance the effectiveness of all revenue-generating departments.
  • Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams to achieve company revenue goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success.
  • Manage and develop a team of revenue operations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in revenue operations, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring open communication and effective collaboration on revenue-related initiatives.

Education / Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM, including advanced administration, customization, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with process automation tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
