The client operates multiple auto care locations and is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Job Summary
The Director of Operations will oversee the performance and growth of 18 auto care locations across the Carolinas. This leadership role involves managing 3 District Managers, ensuring operational excellence, driving profitability, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The position requires strategic leadership and daily travel to store locations, with minimal overnight travel.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals and enhance efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and support three District Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee budgeting processes and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Competence in analyzing complex data and financial metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Exceptional leadership in change management, with the ability to drive innovation, make high-stakes decisions, and manage crisis situations effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in applying Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency is a plus.
Education / Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in multi-unit operations management within the automotive service industry or a related field required.
